New Jersey Devils
Thanks to a good season opener, as they have celebrated nine times in eleven matches played, the Devils are currently at the top of the table in the Eastern Conference. In the further course of the championship they were pretty much lost. They played quite unsteady and they did not manage to get some good results in series. The last time they recorded two wins in a row at the end of last month when they celebrated against Vancouver and Detroit.

Only in the last three rounds did they improve their game a bit. Although they had a tough schedule, they recorded two wins. They first celebrated a convincing 5-1 win at home against LA Kings, while they were defeated in the distance from Montreal only after the penalty shootout. Anaheim Ducks
Anaheim Ducks have a lot of problems with injuries and that’s probably one of the reasons why they are only in tenth place in the table. The biggest handicap is the absence of Corey Perry, one of the best players in the team. In addition, Eaves, Kesler, Liambas, Lindholm and Ritchie are injured. They play very poorly from the start of the season and they did not improve their game until the middle of last month, recording four wins in five matches played.

The Ducks were the main favorites to win the Stanley Cup before the start of the season, but as they play, they could easily stay out of the playoffs.
